About Iqraa after-school program at Alnoor Islamic Center, we focus on taking our students from reading level to Tajweed Level InshaAllah. 1- Arabic: Mastering Arabic reading skills using the Noor-Al-Bayan Method and stepping them up to the Tajweed level. 2- Quran & Islamic Studies: We utilize certain Surahs and Ahadith to practice reading skills and teach our kids core things about their deen depending on their level Check out our last year's Summary Video: Watch Here
Schedule: - Classes will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays ONLY from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM
- The first semester starts on 9/3/2024 and ends on 12/19/2024
Tuition/Semester: - $200/Student/Semester (Sibling discount is $25 for each subsequent child ONLY if paid in full on or before 8/30/2024).
- no registration fees are required
Payment: - Full payment is due by 8/30/2024 to receive the sibling discount.
- Full payment is due by 9/2/2023 to be admitted. (No sibling discount after 8/30/2023).
- Registration will close on 9/2/2023 by 5:00 pm.

Beginner Level: Must recognize, reading and writing the letters. They will learn how the letters appears in the beginning, middle and end of a word, read and write 2-3 letter words with fatha. Intermediate Level: Must know how to read and write 2-3 letter words They will learn reading words with Fattha, Kassra, Dahmma, (short vowels) long vowels, Sukoon, Shaddah and Tanween
Advanced Level: Must know how to read with some Tashkeel. They will learn the rules of Tajweed: Laam Quamaryyah and Shamsyyah, types of maad, Rules of Noon Sakin and Tanween and rules of Meem Sakin.

About This is an Arabic language course developed by Nouman Ali Khan, a prominent Islamic scholar. The program is designed to teach classical Arabic, particularly with a focus on understanding the Quran. The program systematically covers Arabic grammar and vocabulary, starting with basic concepts and gradually advancing to more complex topics. It aims to give students a deep understanding of Arabic syntax and morphology. The program teaches the Arabic language of the Quran in English. By the end of the course, students should know how to do a grammatical analysis of the ayat of the Quran. They should develop a basic understanding of how Arabic grammar works and how that affects the translation of the Quran
Prerequisites: - Students should know how to read the Quran in Arabic even if they don't know what it means. Tajweed is not mandatory for this program but the students must have phonetics abilities (pronounce the words correctly) and know the alphabet.
- Iqraa program graduate is a perfect fit
- Target students are 12-16 years old. If a younger student needs to register he/she must meet the above criteria

About Utrujja Institute: Quran Memorization and Contemplation for Children برنامج الأترجة؛ تربية ربانية من خلال حفظ و تدبر القرآن للاطفال
This registration is for the age group 4-8 years old (Kotab-style approach); For this age group, the program will follow a kotab (كُتاب) style memorization approach. Students in this age group will attend sessions for half an hour, three times per week (after school hours). During these sessions, they will memorize their assigned surahs, learn proper recitation, practical tajweed, and the correct articulation of letters (مخارج الحروف) under the guidance of the Sheikh/Teacher. Prerequisites: - Students must be 4-8 years old
- No prior Hifz is required
Schedule: - Classes will be held on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Each session is divided into two halaqah, with each group having 30 minutes per session
- Start date: Monday, August 19th, 2024
Tuition/month: - $25 non-refundable registration fee
- $35/Student/month ($140 per semester)
