Giving Thanks

Have you sat with Gratitude lately? One of the spiritual principles of Reiki is: Just for today, I’ll live with an attitude of Gratitude. Gratitude is the key to abundance, prosperity, and to your desires! Because as you give forth thanks for what you have or want, you're open to receive more.

In my prayer before and after healing sessions I give thanks for the healing and say, And So It Is! I give thanks because I know the healing is happening. I'm stating the intention- for healing, and in gratitude that it's already done.

Thank You is a simple, yet powerful prayer. It brings you back to the present, what you have now, and what a blessing it is! If there's a dream in your heart or something you desire, be Expectant to receive it, and give thanks it's on the way!

Take a moment for a simple practice of gratitude. Sit down, take a deep breath, and connect with Spirit. Think of something you're grateful for. Feel gratitude bubble up in your heart and allow it to overflow through your body and move to what you're grateful for. Now think of something you want to experience. Fill your heart with gratitude and send your gratitude to it. Watch the energy of gratitude move to what you want and bring it to you. Say, God, I'm grateful____________is here now! Sit with your desire infused with that feeling of gratitude and say, Thank You, and So it is!

This Thanksgiving I’m in gratitude for your presence in my community. Thank you for sharing your energy, your light with the world. I’m grateful for YOU!
