Special offer on pet portraits
| |
Earlier this week we had to say goodbye to a beloved family member, Elliot George (black cat, top right). His passing was sudden, shocking, and entirely unexpected. The whole family is heartbroken and grieving deeply.
If you or someone you know is hurting due to the loss of a pet, I want to help! in honor of Elliot's memory, I'm offering a special on Pet Portraits through the end of June. All I need from you is one good photograph of the beloved!

Considering a custom oil painting? Order now in time for the December holidays!
| |
December is still 6 months away, but believe it or not it’s time to start planning for the holiday gifting season now! An oil painting can take up to 6 months to complete, depending on the size, image, time of year, my workload, etc. This is a portrait of a home in southern Vermont- one of my particular favorites! All of my work is created from client photographs and I can ship your painting just about anywhere in the world!
If you’ve ever considered a custom oil painting as a holiday gift - or for that 2026 wedding/graduation/retirement/anniversary - now is the time to order. At the very least, the summer and fall months are excellent times of year to take your reference photos..... Order directly from my website (recommended if you're local to Greater Philadelphia and want to arrange a studio pickup) or from my Etsy shop (recommended if you require shipping).

Most recent scenic project: Opera Delaware's world premier of Fearless
| |
Aside from my studio practice, I also work as a set painter in and around Greater Philadelphia. I spent May working on Opera Delaware's production of Fearless, a new opera by Derrick Wang that recently made its world premier at The Grand Opera House in Wilmington. "Fearless is the story of Hazel Ying Lee, trailblazing World War II aviator and member of the Women Airforce Service Pilots."

Recent exhibition at the Community Arts Center in Wallingford
| |
This year I spent my birthday with my painting, Philly Tondo, at the opening reception of AROUND at the Community Arts Center in Wallingford, PA. This painting- a semi-abstract depiction of the iconic Fishtown Milk Bottle- and others from this series of tondos (circular paintings) can all be seen on my website.

Celebrating 5 years of house portraiture!
| |
| |
Spring of 2025 marked FIVE YEARS since I started my custom painting business! In the early days of the Pandemic, I began to paint portraits of houses in my neighborhood that I admired but knew I could never own. What started as a handful of small paintings evolved into my Houses of Lansdowne series...and then the commission requests started coming in! The rest is history. Here are a handful of paintings from my Houses of Lansdowne series- I've come a long way since then ;)

A few recent favorite commissions.....

| |
Above are a handful of my favorite commissions from the past few months. I don't JUST paint pets and architecture- I would love to recreate any of your special memories based on your photos! I particularly enjoy painting from vacation photos- I appreciate being able to travel vicariously through my clients!
I would love to create a painting for you or a loved one based on your photos. All of my work is 100% original, hand-painted, and one-of-a-kind.
Order directly from my website (if you're local to Greater Philadelphia and want to arrange a studio pickup) OR my Etsy shop (if you require shipping).

Earlier this month we celebrated the life of my friend, colleague, mentor, and "Sensei," Peter Tupitza, who passed away in March after a brief illness. In mid-June I participated in InLiquid's annual Art for the Cash Poor festival at Crane Arts in Philadelphia.
THANK YOU for your continued support, especially during these emotional last few months!
